The doxing of anyone defies the purpose of this forum. The issue for me is that person's first response was to dox the other poster. That person should never again have access to personal information of posters.

Yeah I get it. This wasn’t related to pulling info off the forum though, it was a matter of personally knowing the poster ahead of time. The only personal info we have on anyone on here is an email address.
I know where you are coming from, but I just want to be clear it’s not a matter of pulling information from the backend, it’s a matter of specifically knowing who the person was ahead of time. @PleasureMoose is a great friend of mine and we worked it out

Also, it’s not a matter of spreading name, address and phone number out there. It was just a matter of identifying that someone with an Instagram account is a member of the forum. Again not trying to make an excuse, I just want people to know that I value their privacy

i thought about this alot lastnight and tbh the twitter account doesn't need to be in sole possession of one individual, the power should be given to the people...isn't that what this movement here is all about. We're a community and we should all have a vote or say so on what gets put out on a social media account that could possibly indirectly involve all of us here.. Do like a "best post of day" have a vote/highest reaction and reward that member with their post on the twitter account... That's how you drive more people here

The point of social media is to draw people to the forum, that’s it. Once they get here, if they stick around or not that’s up to them.
We have to recruit people somehow and that has been the best way from everything we have experimented with. If we hadn’t been doing this the forum would be missing some of the great posters we have added the last few months.

I'm not saying get rid of it..I'm glad those members are here but it also could be the reason some members left or never joined.. maybe just ease into taking a different direction with it that's all it still can be used as a recruiting tool. Finally, the service I provide through the business I have set up is a Free Speech forum, not a media organization. However we get people to the forum does not matter, because if they agree or disagree with us, once the get to the forum they are fair game to get hammered with any discussion.

@TJHall1 goes on the TFSF podcast and refers to himself as his username on TFSF. @TJHall1 provides daily updates for the forum on the forum’s YouTube channel. @TJHall1 responds to a social media post on Instagram from his personal account. The Instagram responds with copying a post made by @TJHall1 from a public forum, from his username that has been publicly associated with his TFSF account multiple times.
No information that was not already public was made public.
Not saying the response on Instagram was right, because it wasn’t. I’m going to personally make sure it doesn’t happen again.

I get that, but I just want to be clear on what happened. I acknowledged it is wrong, but I want people on this site to know that I care about protecting their personal information.
Someone that has put a shitload of hours working on something made a bad move. Obviously butt hurt was involved and responded inappropriately. I did my best to correct the situation, and everything was removed. I’m not going to throw that person under the bus because they made one mistake.
The more I think on it the more I think Twiter doesn’t deserve a TFSF account. We are supposed to be defunding these media whores not sucking cabal cock to drive more traffic.
