Right before Obama was sworn in I moved a 100k to gold. I did alright. But im 48 and that and real estate are the only places i ever got a good or better return. My IRAs have grown but not like when I got a feeling. Im actually considering going heavy on physical platinum or silver. Steel is on the wildest ride in recent memory. I have seen these cycles destroy many people

Yes. Houses are in short supply where I'm at and going way over list.

Yeah it’s really just a bad time right now overall. I buy residential and we turn them into rentals with my cousin and we are steering completely clear right now. We got one in April last year that was a steal and then one at a reasonable price in October time frame, but the market took off afterwards.

My suggestion would be to rent for now. Renting is not a bad financial move like many say it is - so don’t feel like you are throwing money away by renting.
