You have to be skeptical because he litter ali popped on the scene 2 years ago and has said everything right for the last year. That being said... So far, he seems to be getting to his thoughts by logic. He isn't just throwing out something and saying "I don't know why I think that".... He can go through his line of thinking from where he was pre covid to where he was after the blm riots and where he was after they tried the esg blackmail on his Co.

@Croot_Overlord -- What's being done to deal with the slowly increasing infestation of trolls / spam accounts? And what is being done to keep them from creating new / alt accounts?

By my count we are down from three moderators to one, with no real teeth to keep this thread clean. Most of the site is made up of people who came here to use this thread as a source of news and discussion. Before the introduction of Genmod on the Rivals MB, the mods there even would thread ban flagrant troll / spam accounts for us.

And it's a better draw to this site as a whole if a bunch of content isn't simply spam accounts and those responding to the spam accounts. Let's figure out a way to keep the free speech with ways to restrict / ban those who aren't interested in discussion. Real dissenting views are fine and encouraged, they just need to be value added, not those simply trying to elicit a reaction and deliberately degrade the quality of news and discussion.

I have had to resort to hiding those who can’t seem to help themselves from engaging the trolls I've hidden long ago. It's like the trolls grab them by the balls and the’re to weak to do anything about it.

Crazy how fast you can go from being 10 pages behind to only 4.

After being named Speaker he said impeachment was too political. The House went around him and voted to send impeachment articles to the Judiciary Committee. McCarthy short circuited that. Now back to OBiden? There are many candidates. Start with Garland, Wray or the person in charge of the border. Better yet, impeach the whole administration.

There are some people that want some users outright banned, some that want thread bans, some that want an elaborate scoring system and others that just suggest the use of the ignore function

At what point do we distinguish between a troll and a difference of opinion? Some are more obvious than others, some imply sarcasm, some are just being assholes. I feel that moderation, unless outright necessary, is a very slippery slope for something we call a Free Speech Forum. Once you set the bar for moderating someone, it just keeps getting lower and lower. We’ve seen it happen on so many websites and platforms

I’ve done something about users who have spammed the thread or posted porn. In the meantime, I suggest using the ignore function if someone is bothering you.

And he's exposing a lot of nefarious stuff going on in Ukraine or through Ukraine. He's a scumbag and would likely slit your throat. But, is exposing stuff or having it admitted to.
