I haven't been able to verify this but heard this amazingly scary stat on a podcast. The avg age of plumbers in the US was close to 60 years old. So in another 5 years we will lose half the plumbers in the country to retirement. If that is true, and I assume there are other trades similar, we are fucked around 2030.
