Just caught up from being off the grid for another 48 hours with a power outage from a snow storm. Second power outage in 10 days. While I do have a portable generator for the essentials, this last episode has me curious about whole home generators. Anyone have one, or any insight?

This is the go to on the Texas Gulf Coast for hurricanes.

When I was a young man, an old cowboy tried to warn us young fellows. It was Friday night and we were heading out for a party.
He made a triangle with his 2 thumbs and index fingers..
He said see that boys, a woman has one of these with some hair on it. He said it has many names, we will just call it a pussy. He said that is what makes them so dangerous. He said that little bitty thing with a hank of hair can pull more than a team of horses.
It will cause a man with a hard dick to go places a man with a loaded gun will not. Crazy

I have had a Kato Light for 20 years. Sufficient for 7800 sq. ft. Has its own electrical panel and turns on and off automatically. In that I am far out in the country all my heat is propane so the generator is tied in to the propane line.

Yeah, the party has not mattered in the deconstruction of this country over the last few decades. They and congress have been truly terrible. Intentionally or not. (I tend to lean towards it being very intentional)
Let me help you all understand with an analogy.
Democrats=sprinting toward the cliff
Republicans=jogging toward the cliff

I heard Corn Pop was at Biden's Selma speech selling bream sandwiches and rusty straight razors. 😂

Hes dumb as fuck like you. Pedro is lost and pee brained. You had no idea how or what was part of the "swamp" until Trump reveled it all. Now you Faggots sit here and act like youre ahead of the game. That shit pisses me off and people like you are close to the enemy.
Yep. People like @ETNVol and @Cincinattus91 are dangers to society. I hope and pray they don’t act as a lone wolf one day and decide to mass murder a gay pride parade.

i had a generac for about 15 yrs and one day it just stopped working. i was surprised because it was hardly used. i contacted generac and they wouldnt stand behind their product and referred me to the place it was purchased from here (pensacola) locally.

they just said we're sorry but we'll be happy to sell you a new one, i bet they would. they denied to even give me any credit for the unit, like i said it was hardly used, it probably only had to work about 10x's since i had it installed.

went to the fb generac page looking for answers but to no avail.

so i switched to briggs and stratton, cost about 16k for a i believe a 21 or 24 kw, more than enough for my 5k square foot home.

just do a little research because maintenance is very important.
