Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Coastal Maine is definitely not like the interior. Warmer for sure. Upstate though....winter wonderland. I personally like it but I would get it if those that aren't used to it won't like it. Half of my family comes from Maine (Kennebunkport) via Quebec. I have the cold weather tolerant blood in me.
Paul most likely knows this but there is no way what the democrats did was an honest mistake and they are wrong. They did everything and set everything up intentionally. They aren't worried about being right or wrong, just inflicting whatever harm they can on anyone that isn't a dem supporter.

I really do not like the Bush family. They are like the Obamas, Bidens, or Clintons to me. (even though I did vote for Bill. I was doing very well financially when he was in office.) I do love Texas though.
