Sort of like my neighborhood except with houses. The city spent 3 years rebuilding a street through the area - royal pain in the ass, too. The reason for the street rebuild was to put sidewalks in so the children weren't walking in the road to their school. Then they shut down the school.
In the middle of 105 degree weeks long heat, the city put in thousands of dollars of trees and grass. Nobody, the residents or the city is watering the trees or grass. They are dying daily.
