Haha I thought it seemed high. I’m 28, make 75k a year, but I only spend about $1,500 a month and it’s definitely not on only basic needs. Now I don’t have a car payment,housing payment, don’t have cable, Netflix, or other subscription services for the most part (other than Spotify). I live in a 200 year old family home and have learned that I don’t have to keep up with the Jones’. Because of that, I expect to have a fat retirement account by the time I’m 45 and will be able to do whatever I want.

The statistics he is using are misleading. The 1.8% (if even correct) includes the beginning when we didn’t know how to treat it. There are approved and unapproved therapeutica that were not available. The death rate has gone down. Also you must take age and comorbidities into account. A 95 year old with COPD is different than a college sophomore. if he is trying to argue statistics it should reflect the population in question.

Right on brother. I’m glad you have your faith to help guide you during these difficult times. I’ve never been religious but over the last few years have developed what I guess could be described as a spiritual sense, I think you have the right mindset as it’s important to keep in mind that while the current situation sucks, it could be so much worse and the Afghanistan situation throws that in sharp relief.

Hey Seaside, I am glad your wife is doing well with the MS diagnosis. MS is a common misdiagnosis when someone has Borelliosis (Lyme disease). Did they run tests of some sort to have the MS diagnosis? Does she have some symptoms of some sort to cause that sort of test? We have many in our chronic Lyme support group that was diagnosed with MS at one point in there doctor merry go round. PM me if you have any questions.

She's feeling sick, but nothing scary. Sore throat, fever, fatigue etc. I don't anticipate her having any trouble beating it. Doctor was more surprised by the Influenza B result. Says you should not see that in August in young, healthy, active people.

Started my horse paste this morning. Not going to approach the Mrs. about it, unless she starts presenting. I haven't crossed the "Tractor Supply Store" remedy bridge with her yet.

Our area has seen a ton of influenza and RSV in the last month or two. Very, very strange for this time of year. Both were virtually nonexistant over the winter though.
