It sounds like Rus offensive is picking up steam. They took a few more towns. The speed they took them is what's wild. Normally they take weeks to clear out a town. They apparently took a town close to klischivka and inflicted 30% losses on Ukr and Ukr pulled out completely to another town over 20 miles away. Ukr was fighting for every inch just a few weeks ago but it appears the losses are mounting. Just a few hours of fighting and they pulled back that much.

Yup, from what I gather over the last 24 hrs RU has pushed a bulge about 6km X 6km in the north,
Ukr has continued pushing on the southern flank of Bakhmut but it's become a grind now, and further south along "Bradley square" UKR launched a massive mobile attack estimated to have over 80 armored carriers/tanks involved & pushed RU troops back only to be halted once they came under fire in open fields that devastated that column.

We're a full 2 months plus into the counteroffensive & Ukr has yet to physically even reach the RU first defense lines much less actively engage them.

Their attack has completely lost steam and was wildly over exaggerating based on the latest reports from Russian sources.

This isn’t accurate. Ukraine has the momentum and it’s is building.

Reports of Ukraine shaping operations having gone well and that they are planning an uptick in combat action starting sometime around mid to late August.

Ukraine has gotten notice from Washington that they shouldn’t be worried about a change of policy as a result of the 2024 elections and therefore should take as much time as they want to accomplish their goals. There is broad agreement among all NATO Allie’s that this war will last at least several more years barring a complete Russian collapse (which is looking increasing more likely).

I feel like you think the war is starting in 2025. You realize all this shit is for far in the future right? Ukr is losing tons of men and equipment right freaking now.
Ukraine isn’t even close to losing tons of men and equipment right now. Russia is the ones losing tons of men and equipment.

Ukraine is preparing to fight for the next decade if they would need to and the Allies are building out the capacity to make it happen while also expanding their own stores.

Obviously, Ukraine isn’t going to need to fight that long because Russia cannot sustain this pace of conflict / attrition but that’s what makes these multi year commitments so intimidating to Russia. Ukraine and the Allies are making clear that there is no path for stalemate or victory for the Russians. Russia’s only avenue out of this war is complete withdraw or their whole nation will die.

My brother, I appreciate your persistence, but it would appear that your head is buried in the asshole of a sand dune...

How about we do a bet.... IF Ukraine isn't winning this war by March of 2024 Then I will stop making fun of you fucking your sister. If Russia is clearly winning this war by March of 2024 then you stop fucking your sister and quit posting nonsense.

Deal?

Ukraine is already clearly winning this war so you would need different terms. I don’t have a sister but I’m willing to use yours if you’re able to come up with reasonable terms.
