WATCH — Andrey Kartapolov, Russian politician and former officer of the Russian Army, who is now head of the State Duma Defense Committee, said that the Wagner Group has been brought into Belarus for the capture of the Suwalki corridor.

The Suwalki corridor borders Poland and Lithuania, separating Belarus from the Kaliningrad region and would allow, in case of capture, to cut off the Baltic from the rest of Europe.

Nobody is going to install a new government in Russia by simply carpet bombing them. Taking their resources isn’t on the agenda either since NATO is a defensive alliance.

Once NATO destroyed the majority of the Russian navy and ground forces the FSB would replace Putin and seek peace talks.

Hell, the FSB is already looking for an off ramp to get out of Ukraine without destabilizing Russia too much with a sudden regime change.

The FSB aren’t dumb. They want to remain in control of Russia so they can continue to operate their mafia state and live high on the horse. They can’t do that if they start nuclear war.

The whole reason Putin is in power is because of FSB regime change anyways. They view any one person as expendable.

Russia is getting absolutely pounded. The material losses being sustained will take over 100 years to replace with current Russian output. Russian sources are reporting serious shortages in bullets, artillery pieces, tanks, anti-air systems, and manpower.
