Will be announced that a high-ranking member of the government directly had someone in the press banned from a blue-birdhouse soley for retribution of their reporting about them.

They have the receipts BTW

I think @Jayhox can confirm this would be a serious violation of the 1st Amendment.

This is a long game, but the individual can start with a lawsuit that would eventually reach the Supreme Court . . . or, a certain future administration.

I’ll be honest. That concerns me, too. Gaetz can’t be dumb enough to let that happen through whatever the voting process is. I think you need a majority of all votes, not just the most votes, to elect a Speaker and neither McCarthy or Jeffries can get that on this first vote. In other words, Jeffries could get all Dem votes and still not have over 50%. Holy hell.

Evidence of broken laws does not get me off. If I don’t see some punishment then there is no crime, and ergo, no law.
