2. each ballot needs to have name and ID number on the ballot
3. each ballots needs to be scanned into a publicly accessible database so any citizen can do their own recount
#3 is the crux of the matter. As long as people behind closed doors supposedly count our votes it's going to be people behind closed doors who determine who will take office.

Something to think about on the Ukraine missle. If a non-NATO country (Ukraine) attacks a NATO country (Poland) should it trigger a NATO response. Since Ukraine is a non- NATO country shouldn’t NATO have a response against Ukraine?

Looking at what Trump did and didn't do is not nitpicking. Not only did Trump not drain the swamp, he joined it. Trump had 4 years. He reformed nothing. One of his appointees is still in office, in one of the most powerful jobs in America, still terrorizing patriots 2 years after he left office. He put deep staters in charge of every key agency/department. Make a million excuses for him, it doesn't change the facts. He built ~15% of the wall, signed Paul Ryan's tax cut, got a bunch of Mitch McConnell-approved judges confirmed, and fast-tracked the deadliest vaccine in history. That's his record.
He refused to do most of those things he complains about now, what is so magical about a 2nd term that he can be trusted to do them? He did nothing to fix broken elections, he did nothing to reform the DOJ/FBI/CIA. He deported some criminals, but didn't even attempt to deport a single one of the millions of mexicans and central Americans living here illegally. Trump criticized congressional republicans for not using debt authorization to shut down the dems agenda, yet he refused to do the same or use veto to get any of his own agenda through.
He didn't even attempt to reform the national republican party. He endorsed deep staters to run the RNC and congress. Other than Mitch McConnell and the people who voted against him for impeachment, he has given a full-throated endorsement of the deep state-owned RNC.
That's not nitpicking, it's examining what he did and didn't do. There's very little opinion above, almost all of it is documented fact. I used to be a Trump supporter. I ceased to be when I took the time to pay attention to his record instead of listening to the bogus nonsense coming out of his blowhole.
