I understand, and I'm the same way, but it's not us that he needs to win over. It's the independent voters and people that would rather not vote than vote for him. There's a lot of those out there. One thing we know is that the D's hate him, so a lot of them will vote for a wet sock for pres before they'd vote from Trump. So he needs to either get those super anti-trump people away from the ledge, or win over more of the independents and middle.

Everybody has flaws...what he has done and is doing far outweighs all the nitpicking of the whiners. He’s done a hell of a lot more for this country than all those pussy’s who can’t get past his personality. I just want him to be the authentic person he is.
I'm not sure what I'll do yet, as we have a ways to go before having to worry about it. Aside from Desantis, I'm just not sure who else is on the list of potential candidates in the next 10 years that's worth considering.
But at what cost? Losing the election again because of his personality? He doesn't need to change his personality entirely...just cutting out the name calling would probably have a big impact.

Trump has to understand that he has already begun playing the long game leading up to the primaries in 2024. He has a year and a half to show the measured and even temperament that he showed last night. To stick to the facts and the issues and abstain from personal attacks and name-calling etc. He has to remain disciplined if he wants to have a snowballs chance in hell of winning. Last night was a great start and he was absolutely purposefully measured to the point where people were calling him low energy. Hell even Jeb bush was poking fun at his tone and temperament. But that’s exactly what he needs to do and continue doing. Even one single deviation from that “presidential” tone could be a death blow. Stick to the talking points and stick to the facts. No editorializing off script.
