I heard that some Illinois counties are debating leaving Chicago... They mentioned joining Indiana... but it would make sense for a few counties to go to Iowa, a few to Indiana and a couple to KY and MO... Though maybe let Ill stay a state and just kick Chicago out as a misfit area with no Senators or House members.

The rural part of Illinois has people fed up the high taxes and Chicago making the rules. I know Missouri wouldn’t want any county from Illinois, especially the east side (east saint louis and industrial cities owned by chemical companies, refineries, etc.).
