@Fig-Jam was looking into them. There were a few handles that had been around for year with 0 posts until the other day. Now have hundreds of posts all in the LaC thread. I suspect the ridenbiden handle is a service with a group of people controlling it strictly to make political discussion miserable.

I've been on there a bunch of times previously and never seen this. A buddy of mine said his was down too but got a different message.
I thought you needed to have those big ol antennas on your roof or buy a node in order to get distance on the Ham radios though? At least through my research you need those if you want to cover any distance greater than say around 10 miles or so.
Yeah if you want to get emergency stuff, and close stuff they would be good to have, but if you wanted to communicate any great distance you would need a larger antenna to do so. I didnt know about the amatuer stuff so thats good info thx.
