They are holding on to the last 4B in aid from the first round until they pass this next round of 25B in aid so that they can adequately distribute kit by priority.

Zelensky had a pretty significant haul from Ukrainian allies. Best of all the allies are now making multi year commitments to Ukraine because they realize that killing all the orcs could take years or even a decade.

This makes it seem like religious folks aren’t choking down McDonalds, porn, and Twitter just like everyone else when we know for a fact they are.

I’ll correct myself now by acknowledging that if they are “christian” then it’s probably Chick-fil-a & CP instead.

He is right that we cannot allow a small group of religious zealots to dictate what is taught in public schools. If those parents don’t like it then they can enroll their kids in private schools.

Too many parents act like they know what’s good for all children when in fact they can only speak for their own children.

Appealing to the lowest common denominator, whether that’s a religious kid / disabled kid / ect., is never a productive policy. “No Child Left Behind” has proven that countless times.

If they had homeowners insurance that’s covers wildfires (like they should have) then they are getting their hotel paid for by the insurance company. If they didn’t they they are lying in the bed they made for themselves.

The issue has nothing to do with Ukraine. It’s not a one or the other. There is plenty of money for both.

Shelling out money to people who chose not to properly insure and protect their property isn’t something the federal government should be doing anyways. The same goes for hurricanes and other natural disasters. A little food and water so that people don’t starve to death or die of thirst for a couple days is one thing but the current welfare programs related to natural disasters have gotten out of hand.

If individual states want to take up the effort, like Florida for hurricanes, then that we be more appropriate so that all of us aren’t burdened with a minority group’s choices.
