• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Should have sued for more and sued the board members themselves as well as the district. The trust may be paying but it's the taxpayers who ultimately pay. They will also see their premiums rise which means taxes rise. This won't stop until the individuals who promote this stuff and punish those people who object feel the same or worse financial pain.

The money SF is losing is widespread. No sales taxes, no income taxes, no parking revenue, no tourism, no property taxes, nothing. They brought this on themselves. It will be a long time before they get back to some semblance of normalcy, if they ever do. Businesses won't come back until they see a long term demonstration of a turnaround by SF's government.

Listen to It - MUST LISTEN

@ZubyMusic
“people say, oh my god, have you seen how crazy the world has gotten? I say yeah, we got here because of your silence!!” I know wayyyyyy too many people like this, I was driving my mother in law home the other day and she said the same thing to me, “I know something is wrong BUT what can a person like me do?” Fucking stand up and FIGHT BACK!!!!

Whole Foods leaving a ritzy neighborhood after only a year in business because of crime and safety should have woke the idiots up.
