Do ham radios still require a license?
We used to have a CB with side band when I was a kid, but never got more than 30 miles on a good day.

FCC Licenses and Amateur Radio

Amateur Radio is regulated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) under the Communications Act of 1934. It is also subject to numerous international agreements. All Amateur Radio operators must be licensed. In the U.S., there are three license classes. The higher the class of license, the more frequencies are available. Earning each higher class license requires passing a more difficult examination. Although regulated by the FCC, license exams are given by volunteer groups of Amateur Radio operators. Operating under organizations called Volunteer Examiner Coordinators, volunteers administer and grade tests and report results to the FCC, which then issues the license. U.S. licenses are good for 10 years before renewal, and anyone may hold one except a representative of a foreign government. Learn More About Getting Licensed

License Restructuring
In December 1999, after a lengthy review of the Amateur Radio licensing system, the FCC began issuing major changes. In April 2000, the number of license classes dropped from six to the current three. In addition, in February 2007, the FCC discontinued requiring Morse code proficiency tests. The FCC issued these new regulations to streamline the licensing system and bring the Amateur Radio service into the digital age. While the new license system might not make it easier to get into Amateur Radio, licensed operators can move from the beginner to expert level more quickly.

The Technician License
The Technician class license is the entry-level license of choice for most new ham radio operators. To earn the Technician license requires passing one examination totaling 35 questions on radio theory, regulations and operating practices. The license gives access to all Amateur Radio frequencies above 30 megahertz, allowing these licensees the ability to communicate locally and most often within North America. It also allows for some limited privileges on the HF (also called "short wave") bands used for international communications.

The General License
The General class license grants some operating privileges on all Amateur Radio bands and all operating modes. This license opens the door to world-wide communications. Earning the General class license requires passing a 35 question examination. General class licensees must also have passed the Technician written examination.

The Amateur Extra License
The Amateur Extra class license conveys all available U.S. Amateur Radio operating privileges on all bands and all modes. Earning the license is more difficult; it requires passing a thorough 50 question examination. Extra class licensees must also have passed all previous license class written examinations.

Still holding the line...but if it doesn’t happen tomorrow we need to have a third party and pull from the sensible Dems ( if there are any left).....but I think there will be some when they see the shit happening in this admin they will want to move to another party....spare me we will never win because at this point I feel the with the republicans, the Patriots still lose IMO....why say you’s?
Why start a third party with no power, when you can just take over the GOP? McConnell, Cheney, Romney, etc are toast. The GOP will rise from the ashes of the swamp as the party of MAGA.

Hey guys we've got a new donation link on our site. We already closed down the GoFundMe so users can no longer get the Founder tag anymore. Those of you that already donated and have the tag we really appreciate your help and if you would like to continue donating you can still do so and we have plans to show our appreciation for those who do. You can find the link to donate at the top of the site and also here https://crootn.com/index.php?donate/

Thanks again to all of you that have helped get this moving and we have some big things in the works for you all!
Is there a way to set it up as an automated monthly donation?

Those declassed docs will NEVER see the light of day. Also, the machine will absolutely destroy Trump and his family in the coming few years. Even he doesn't have the money to fight what's coming. We're next.
They will try both. To your first point, maybe Trump has personal copies of some crucial documents. To your second point, yes, they will go after him. He better get good lawyers.

Idk about the 'moderate' Dims. If they are globalists they are the enemy. I'd fight with the crazy tranny dude (not my first choice) if she were a die hard patriot who puts America First and loves liberty.

What we need is a clear marker for who belongs in our party. I like this:

"Do you believe America should come First?"

Or

"Do you believe America's resources should benefit American citizens First?"

Jordan is up there too. I'm 29 and can't think of another athlete in the same stratosphere. Probably also the only two celebrities I would recognize in public.

Thanks for this. I live north of the border, but I assume the requirements would be similar up here.

I would think Woods and Jordan have to be 1,2. Lebrun is probably getting up there too.

I would argue Woods had more of an impact on his sport than any other figure. He really transformed golf and dominated for such a long time.
