I believe this is the lowest America has been since the mid-70s and the end of the Vietnam war. I was born in 1979 and this is the lowest I haven’t received in our country. Praying for better days
Thank you for sharing that. I think a lot of people in this country feel exactly like you do and are going through similar things. My mother who is 79 said this is the worst 12 months she has lived through in her entire lifeI try to practice stoicism as much as I can, not worrying about what I can’t control and making the best of every situation but it’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
There has always been corruption and politicians lying is a tale as old as time, but it’s baffling to see how in your face, “there’s nothing you can do about it” the corruption has become. Yet a significant percentage of people just don’t care, while a smaller but vocal and powerful percentage actually cheer it on. With the internet and social media it takes all of 5 seconds to prove how everything were being told is an outright lie but every institution from government to academia to corporate to tech is in on the game and uses every trick in the book to obfuscate or censor or deceive.
I’ve been adamant about not getting the vaccine and will continue to refuse but how far will the powers that be push this? With the way things are going pretty soon you won’t be able to work, travel, or even potentially go to grocery stores/restaurants unless vaccinated. Some will say “oh just get a job somewhere else” like people don’t have families or doing a job they like/are qualified for to consider.
I wish I could say that I believe the courts will eventually take a stand and end this madness, but they are just as corrupted as every other institution. I wish I could say that I believe that there will be a huge swing in 2022 in Congress or 2024 in the presidency and that will make a difference, but there are far too many traitors in the GOP for that to be a real possibility. Even if one of the above happens, how much damage will be done first?
I’m not the doom and gloom type, but it just feels like every part of my life from work to sports to friends and even family relationships are being permanently changed for the worse. Even my marriage has been negatively impacted, especially because of COVID since I refuse to get vaccinated and my wife (who works in healthcare) has fully bought in to the lies. There’s just no relief.
And we still don’t need a vaccine for a variant of the flu.Alright, time for the creationist to drop a little evolutionary knowledge here...
People don't tend to understand the basic evolutionary processes that lead to randomly acquired traits becoming fixed within a population. I've had some success explaining it a few different ways to people:
1. Which patient contributes to the rise of antibiotic resistant strains of bacteria, the patient taking antibiotics or the patient not taking antibiotics?
2. What causes Round-Up resistant weeds, farming millions of acres with Round-Up or farming millions of acres without Round-Up?
Most people are familiar with one or both of those examples, and it's funny to see the look of understanding once they make the connection to vaccine resistance.
Resistance traits are governed by genetic drift until the fitness landscape is altered to confer improved fitness for resistance traits. At that time, selection favors resistance. Filling a population with hosts who have been vaccinated with a weak vaccine that still allows the virus to spread from host to host is a great way to rapidly evolve vaccine resistance and drive vaccine obsolescence.
If we don't come up with a vaccine that helps the immune system identify many parts of the virus (thereby more closely mirroring the immune learning from natural infection), and also adopt excellent therapeutic protocols, we're going to be in a world where the current vaccines do nothing at all. That could happen in a matter of a couple of months.
What happens you you need to piss or take a shit?
You just can’t make this shit up…
you make a lot of people angry
or hang out on the lift door
Prayers BrotherJust dropping in real quick to let you all know that dad passed away just before 2:00 am this morning. Appreciate all the prayers and support from you all. He’s in a much better place now and for that, I’m grateful. Thanks again fam.
With that said, how about our Retard in Chief? What a complete dildo.
Haha, that guy looks and talks like a total faggot. Taliban is shaking in their sandals.
At least go get antibody tested first. Natural immunity is better, and more durable. The shots give about 6 months protection before you're considered "unvaxxed" again, and we still have no clue what could occur years down the timelineVaccine help! My wife and I have not had the shot and I am content to sit back and continue to watch. My wife is now considering the shot. I would never try and talk her out of it, but would like for her to have good information. We both had COVID early this year and experienced flu like symptoms with loss of taste and smell. Can some one direct me to any study or other information that addresses reinfection rates for those that have previously had COVID compared to reinfection rates for those that have had the shot. I’m just looking for anything that will provide clarity. Thanks to all!
I’d suggest you both get an antibody test to see if it’s positive or negative. There’s no reason to get a vaccine if you still have antibodies.Vaccine help! How do I get the antibody test? Do I just call my primary care doc? Do I go to an urgent care facility. Also, does insurance cover and if not, how much does this test cost. Sorry for so many questions.I’d suggest you both get an antibody test to see if it’s positive or negative. There’s no reason to get a vaccine if you still have antibodies.
There are many immunologists around the world who say people should NEVER get the Jab if they have had Wuhan and have antibodies. God-given natural antibodies are better than the stuff from the mRNA vaccines. Many say those vaccines can pose more harm to those who already have had the virus. At least go get antibody tested first. Natural immunity is better, and more durable. No point vaccinating those who’ve had COVID-19: Cleveland Clinic study suggests
The study findings reveal that individuals with previous SARS-CoV-2 infection do not get additional benefits from vaccination, indicating that COVID-19 vaccines should be prioritized to individuals without prior infection. The study is currently available on the medRxiv* preprint server.www.news-medical.net
Do a Google or DDG search for your area. How do I get the antibody test? Do I just call my primary care doc? Do I go to an urgent care facility. Also, does insurance cover and if not, how much does this test cost. Sorry for so many questions.
Why would you not try and talk her out of it?!?! She’s your wife, brother. If you think the shot is bad, you should ABSOLUTELY try and talk her out of it. I assume you are more “awake” to things than she is, so you do your damndest to protect her from an experimental “vaccine”. Just my opinion, obviously.I would never try and talk her out of it, but would like for her to have good information.
Simple bloodwork with your regular doc. Gotta demand it. He or she might try to fight it.How do I get the antibody test? Do I just call my primary care doc? Do I go to an urgent care facility. Also, does insurance cover and if not, how much does this test cost. Sorry for so many questions.
I am not saying she is 100% on getting it but will say she was diagnosed with MS at the onset of COVID (fortunately she is asymptomatic and is doing very well). She is just getting a lot of pressure from her doctors. Why would you not try and talk her out of it?!?! She’s your wife, brother. I like to see both sides. My only complaint would be the delivery vs the message but I think the discussions are important. Can people not handle the possibility that @ETNVol might be right?
Not saying he is but I don't see a reason to go unhinged about everything he says because no one actually knows.
Regardless, he's been around for a while. He's good people and he's on our side. It certainly doesn't hurt to temper expectations

He is the bitchy version of @pbslow.My only complaint would be the delivery vs the message but I think the discussions are important.
My wife and her entire family got it early on. The onslaught against me has lessened because they are more comfortable just calling me a conspiracy theorist now. To my wife's credit, she has slowly come around to my view on a lot of things, including the virus and vaccines.Gotcha. That is hard. I will pray for you both.
My wife and I will not get the vax but both my sons got it because of the travel they do. They've both promised me that my 3 grand daughters will not be getting it. That's good enough for me.My wife and her entire family got it early on. The onslaught against me has lessened because they are more comfortable just calling me a conspiracy theorist now. To my wife's credit, she has slowly come around to my view on a lot of things, including the virus and vaccines.
The main conundrum is this, and it may not apply to you because your wife did not get it yet. I cannot tell people that have gotten the vaccine the awful things I (we) have read about that it does or can do. I am not willing to tell somebody that had the jab awful scary things simply so I can feel better about not getting it. I would rather have my family mad at me (to a degree), than tell them things that will keep them up at night and they cannot undo from getting the vaccine. So people ask "Why did you not get the vaccine", I mostly respond with, Ill tell you if you want, but you arent going to like it and there is nothing you can do about it now that you have already gotten it. A surprising number of people then do not even want to know.
And bob.Kamala said she’d prefer to kneel.
