check out the dark horse podcast with Bret Weinstein. He has several different dr's on there and he and his wife are evolutionary biologist so they can go through the papers and explain the finding honestly and thoughtfully.

Was at Towson Tavern with my son for dinner tonight (we're in Baltimore for the week for lacrosse).
So, we're sitting there, enjoying our crispy sprouts when the 4 women in the booth behind us started talking about the masks for kids.
Ain't. Happening.
Potatus and his handlers/Overlords have overlooked one tiny obstacle. You can screw around with the general populace and lemmings. Fuck with our kids? Mamas everywhere, from all walks of life, will rain holy hell.
Max looked at me and said (and I quote) "holy shit. I thought you were the only mom who was this pissed."
Listening to those ladies, I could see him kind of let loose a little tension. Just hearing others who aren't me or somebody he knows saying the same gives him a little hope that we haven't all lost our frigging minds. I'm beyond sick and tired of people telling our kids they're walking death stars. We've known since about April 2020 that is a flat out lie. But way to weaponize and destroy children, you evil, soulless asshats.
Walking around Annapolis earlier today (where Max was more than once complimented about 'escorting' his mother
...it was a good day with my boy that I very rarely get. Just us), a woman standing close to us in line with a bunch of other people (we needed ice cream) asked her 4ish year old boy if he wanted his mask. The little boy looked up from playing around with Max before looking back at his mom and said, emphatically, no mask! Mom looked at me and kinda half smiled. I guess she just needed that little boost of support without it being obvious. It's okay Mama. Your boy is just fine breathing fresh air and being a little boy. He's not bothering anybody.Know what? If that's what is needed, I'll give that support. My kids are older. I can and always have called bullshit. I don't give a flying fuck what anybody thinks about me or my decisions for my kids and, as I'm sure y'all know by now, I'm real good at being an absolute bitch when it's called for.

Edit: the ladies were railing on mandated vacs for their kids, too. Yeah... that's not happening either. No way in God's glorious creation is my teenage, hyper athletic, perfectly healthy boy (he's been prescribed antibiotics exactly 2 times in his entire life) getting this vaccine for something that a) He's already had b) is not a huge threat for his health and c) carries any risk for heart issues.

I work in a medical lab, and believe tons of nefarious shit is going on. I do not, however, believe that flu cases were just counted as covid cases last flu season. Alot of people disagree with me, but nobody actually showed any evidence to back up their claims. As someone who performs these tests, I do not have an explaination for why there were virtually zero positive flu tests this year. At least, not a nefarious explaination.
I do agree that most people in the medical field have bought into all this bullshit. We are supposed to be medical professionals and experts, but our stupid hospital is even behind walmart with the masks. Still can't even enter the building without wearing one. The last year has really shown me just how stupid almost everyone is, doctors, nurses, etc included. Just fucking morons.

I have wondered this myself. We do not have a test for covid variants. I am told, the cdc will request samples if they want to test them, but to my knowledge we have not sent them any...but they tell our Drs that most new cases are delta variant...which tells me they are just making shit up, but we already knew that.

A lot of parents are pissed but we were voted unanimously for masks, including the school board member from here in Parkland that we just were at a fundraiser for and she said never mandate masks. She is getting a very bad email from me. Her opponent is a socialist essentially and I am letting her know I will vote for the socialist over her. I once looked up Wayne Allyn Root just to see who he was on Wikipedia. I was shocked to see the unsubstantiated bias against him on his Wikipedia page calling him a “right wing extremist” with a citation to a hit opinion piece. I edited the page to remove it. I then realized Wikipedia had an army of liberal propagandists that do nothing all day but monitor the Wikipedia site. They may even be hired by Wikipedia, but who knows. For a while, I went back and forth in a war of control of the page. Eventually, I had to move on with my life. Wikipedia is a fraud. Just know that.
