Oh yea. Russians have entered Avdiivka and more Ukr surrenders. Sure does look like a route doesn't it... LOL.
Except none of that has happened.

This is just like when you said Ukraine was running out of Javelins, Russia hadn’t lost 300k men, Russia hadn’t lost 5500 tanks, Ukraine was running out of men, ect.

I’m actually kind of intrigued if you’ll ever be right about anything regarding this situation?!

What's hilarious is that more and more MSM are coming to terms with a Ukraine/Nato loss in this war. they are already setting up excuses and scapegoats but you're in such a bubble of delusion that you think you're burning us. You just sound dumber and dumber every time you say "i've never been right".

When USA Today, MSNBC, Reuters, Daily Mail and CNN are all making stories about ukraine needing to seek peace and a draw is a "win"... It's fucking over dude.

Well considering none of those media entities have said that you’re showing just how much Russian propaganda you consume.

Carry on making an ass out of yourself and I’ll carry on correcting and laughing at you.

I litter Ali posted MSNBC and cnn saying that Ukraine needed to seek a peace deal. Why would they need to seek a peace deal if they were winning? If I were kicking your ass, I am, why would I stop until you just totally submit?

Where did you post them? Are they opinion pieces by an individual that you’re trying to spin as actual reporting?

Do they even actually say what you’re claiming? Lets see them.

Ukraine aid and border will likely be done before Xmas!

Slava America!

“We’re not there yet but we continue to head in the right direction. And I think it’s more reason for everybody to stay in town and get this done. We’re closer today than we were yesterday and we should finish this before we leave,” Murphy said. “There’s still no reason we can’t finish this by the time we wrap up for the year. And we should.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s war in Ukraine isn’t just bringing death and destruction to untold thousands, it’s also creating misery in Russia’s economy too, according to a U.S. Treasury Department analysis.

According a blog on the department’s website Thursday, Russia’s economy would be 5 percent bigger if Putin hadn’t launched the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in early 2022. The analysis from Rachel Lyngaas, the department’s chief sanctions economist, also found that Moscow is now spending over $100 billion on defense—nearly a third of its total expenditures in 2023.

AFU has Russia on their heels!

Statistically speaking, conflicts that last more than a year are more likely to last ten years than finish before the start of the second. We are quickly approaching year three!

This is a good discussion about “maximizing”Ukraine’s “killing power” so that Russia will have to pay even more severely as this war drags out across the decade!

Ukraine is set to mobilize an additional 500,000 troops to bring their total to 1.5 million troops under arms!

Slava America! Slava Ukraini!

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Tuesday the military had proposed mobilising 450,000-500,000 more Ukrainians into the armed forces in what would mark a dramatic step up of Kyiv's war with Russia.

The Ukrainian leader told his end-of-year news conference it was a "highly sensitive" issue that the military and government would discuss before deciding whether to send the proposal to parliament.

Zelenskiy said he wanted to hear more arguments in favour of mobilising the additional people before backing such a move.

"This is a very serious number," he said.

Ukraine has been at war with Russian troops since February 2022. Both sides treat their casualty numbers as a state secret, but U.S. officials estimate that hundreds of thousands have been killed and wounded.

Ukraine's troop numbers are not known, but it has said in the past it has around 1 million people under arms. Russia has been expanding its army during the war and said on Tuesday it planned to boost its ranks to 1.5 million service members.

Denmark plans to send $ 1.8 bn aid package to Ukraine, prime minister says

The five Nordic nations in Oslo assured President Volodymyr Zelenskyy they would support Ukraine “for as long as it takes” as the country struggles to drive Russian forces out of its territory.

On 13 December, Zelenskyy attended the Ukraine-Northern Europe Summit in Oslo after meeting US President Joe Biden and American lawmakers in Washington, the President’s Office reported.

During the meeting, Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen announced the country was preparing an aid package for Ukraine worth nearly $1.8 billion.

If approved, the package would include ammunition, tanks, and drones, the prime minister told journalists, according to UkrInform.

The Ukrainian leader and Frederiksen also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the countries in the defense sector.

Separately, Zelenskyy praised the significant contribution of Denmark in the creation of the international coalition of fighter jets.

Currently RU forces are squeezing the UKR foothold on the bank of the Dinpiro ever smaller, Avdiivka remains a cauldron slaughter with RU forces slowly pushing into it from all sides, Novomkhalivka is now under direct fire control from two sides with skirmishes beginning within the village, and in the Bakhmut area RU has pushed any gains made back and are now in direct range of fire control over the next town (Ivanivske).

The senseless slaughter & $$$ laundering operation continues. Ukr should sue for peace and establish major defense belts before a collapse on the front occurs & RU winds up with the entire nation.

False. Nice job parroting that Russian propaganda though!

Also how do you suppose Ukraine will reach peace with a country that doesn’t want it?

Zelenskyy meets with leaders of US defense companies

President Zelensky met with US defense industry leaders during his US visit, focusing on a European defense hub in Ukraine, military production, and investment from American partners.

As part of his visit to the United States, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with executives of US defense companies late on 11 December.
“I had an important and fruitful meeting with leaders of US defense companies. I am grateful to all the workers, engineers, all those who work at American defense companies and partners who produce weapons that help safeguard Ukrainians and help our army defend the country. These are the people who have done a lot for Ukraine,” Zelensky said in a post on Telegram.
Zelenskyy started his official visit to the United States by meeting with US Secretary Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Charles Brown at the National Defence University.

Then, the Ukrainian President delivered a speech at the National Defense University of the United States, met with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, then with the President of the World Bank, Ajay Banga.

Zelenskyy also had a meeting with representatives of US think tanks to discuss how to maintain American support for Ukraine and attention to our country in the face of other global challenges.

Leopard 2 tanks heading back to frontlines following repairs in Lithuania

Lithuania has completed repairs on Leopard 2 tanks damaged in Ukrainian battlefields and is preparing to send the armored vehicles back to the front, the Lithuanian Defense Ministry announced.

The Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence and the Lithuanian Armed Forces, in collaboration with the German defense industry, have repaired Leopard 2 tanks brought from the Ukrainian battlefields. These tanks, after their technical restoration, will soon be returned to combat. The Lithuanian Armed Forces recently showcased the repaired tanks at the Gaižiūnai training area, ready to roll back to the frontline.

“Lithuania consistently supports Ukraine’s fight for its independence, not only by sending military support but also by assisting in the repair of highly needed tanks like the Leopard. Today, we can see the powerfully revitalized tank ready to be returned to Ukraine,” Lithuanian Defense Minister Arvydas Anušauskas said.

The repairs are carried out by Lithuania Defense Services (LDS), a joint venture established in Lithuania in 2022 by two of Europe’s largest military equipment manufacturers, Germany’s Rheinmetall and Krauss-Maffei Wegmann. LDS is dedicated to the maintenance and repair of combat vehicles operated by NATO allies in the Baltic Sea region.

LDS’s repair workshops, located in Jonava, have been repairing damaged Leopard 2 tanks brought from the battlefields of Ukraine since October this year. Lithuania has also organized the repair and return of self-propelled PzH2000 howitzers, previously supplied to Ukraine and used in combat.

Earlier this month, Lithuania contributed €1 million to the Ukraine Solidarity Fund, a trust fund managed by the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB), to aid in the reconstruction and improvement of living conditions in Ukraine.

Ukraine appears to have come out of Christmas Day determined to make an impact, as they claim to have destroyed another Russian warship, this time with an air-launched cruise missile strike. Russia acknowledged the attack on the Ropucha-class Novocherkassk, a 1980s-vintage landing ship similar in size to the U.S.-made Freedom-class warship, saying that one person had been killed in the strike.

Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk of the Ukrainian Air Force thanks his pilots for the “fine work” and noted in a statement that the Russian fleet “is getting smaller and smaller”. Ukrainian Pravda reports remarks of the spokesman for the Ukrainian armed forces Yurii Ihnat, who gave more detail on the strike, saying fighter jets launched a barrage of Anglo-French Storm Shadow / SCALP cruise missiles at the target, hoping at least one of the group would evade Russian air defences.

He is reported to have said that the size of the blast suggested a detonation of ammunition aboard. Indeed, Ukrainian state media shared video footage they claimed was of the attack, showing an enormous explosion and a great column of fire reaching into the sky after the initial hit. Given cruise missiles are intended to deliver a powerful but highly concentrated strike to punch through armored targets, the very large and long explosion shown in the Ukrainian-shared footage suggests large quantities of ammunition carried aboard the Novocherkassk may have cooked off, greatly contributing to the blast.

Russia said only that the ship had been “damaged”, and that nearby buildings in the Crimean port of Feodosia had windows blown out by the blast. It also claimed to have shot down two Ukrainian Sukhoi SU-24 fighter jets which it said were part of the attack on the Novocherkassk.

Russian state media TASS also said locals who recorded the attack on their cell phones and posted the videos to social media — which were shared by Ukraine as evidence of the strike — have already been identified and face criminal penalties for distributing military intelligence. Ukraine has similar laws and also punishescitizens for recording the aftermaths of attacks.

Russia’s class of Ropucha landing ships have become a favourite target for Ukrainian strikes since Moscow re-launched its invasion last year. At least four of them have been damaged in several strikes, and it is reported the Novocherkassk which Ukraine claims to have destroyed in the early hours of this morning was previously hit and damaged by Ukrainian forces in March 2022.

Equipped with bow doors and loading ramps front and rear, the ships are meant to rapidly deliver large amounts of men, equipment, and ammunition to landing beaches. This has made them a potent weapon in the Black Sea in the past, but as noted of late Ukraine has proven extremely adept at striking Russia’s fleet in the area and has pushed it eastwards as it seeks anchorages out of cruise missile range.

Ukraine sank Russia’s Black Sea Fleet flagship the Moskva in 2022, and this year made an audacious attack on the fleet headquarters in Crimea itself, pounding the building with two cruise missiles. Russia’s withdrawal of naval forces from the area has been called a “functional defeat” at Ukraine’s hands with British-supplied cruise missiles by the UK, with Armed Forces Minister James Heappeycalling the theatre very important.

He told a defence conference this year: “the progress in Ukraine over the past few months has been slow, nobody can pretend otherwise, but anyone who thinks there was no progress at all is simply wrong… the importance of what has happened in the Black Sea over the last couple of weeks where a Russian submarine and a Russian ship have been put out of action and the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet has been put out of action too.”

“The functional defeat of the Black Sea Fleet — and I would argue that is what it is because it has been forced to disperse to ports from which it cannot have an effect on Ukraine — and every bit as important as [what was happening on land] last year.”
