Leave a tap open, if it was freezing up having a tap open could help if its not too late.

I always leave a faucet on running slowly when expecting sub zero temps for extended periods. Sorry that won't help you now. Be safe.

For future reference you only need to open it barely enough that water is flowing. You're not at any risk for flooding, it would actually help your drainage system keep from freezing up. Good luck

I doubt he’ll be able to dig the frozen tundra if it’s -27. But in all honesty you don’t need a hole. Just shit outside anywhere and it’ll be a poopcicle in no time. Then just scoop it up with a shovel and throw in your neighbors yard.

Sometimes nicer to get that fulcrum action though with the shovel and really let it fly. Very satisfying seeing it twirl through the air in the moonlight.
I have one that’s full can fill it daily, just worried my pipes might break or when water will come back on
well, that's when they normally split is when they start to thaw

Sorry for the circumstances. You have to tell us more than the water isnt coming on. Yes, crack all the valves to relieve pressure.
I came home today, when to turn on the water and it came out for 10 seconds then slowly slowed down to nothing. Now no water

Not a plumber, but you pribably got something froze.
I have a family of 5 constantly flushing the lines in OKC suburbs. If things sat all day.... might try cranking heater and opening cabinet doors.
You should be fine. You could check where your waterline comes in and see how cold the line is there. My next door neighbor's water line froze a couple winters ago. I think it cost him $600 to have a guy unfreeze it. Basically they run electricity from the water shut off out side to where the pipe enters the house. The electricity heats up the pipe and thaws it.

Probably not long enough. Are you getting municipal water? From a well it is likely frozen, but in a neighborhood it's unlikely.

Lived in Edmond in he early 80’s, went to go break the ice up in the horse trough and there was a chicken frozen in it, good times.
I have water, but am currently without power. This shit sucks.
