Work had me there for a few years;

Take her to “OZ” late night. Followed by Country Club” for a Saturday or Sunday brunch.

Want some food recs? Don’t take her to Commanders, she’s expecting it.

Po boys at Domilise’s and Parkway. Fried shrimp and roast beef will do.

Good classic NOLA dinner at Clancy’s.

Jacques Imos and Maple Leaf for the Oak St neighborhood experience.

And then always Tip’s Uptown for a good show.

Parkway for Poboys.
Drago's for charbroiled oysters.
Cafe Du Monde for Beignets.

We went about a year ago and did a bike tour with FreeWheelin' Bike Tours. I HIGHLY recommend this. Start your day with it. You'll actually feel like you got to see the city - and that you know a thing or 2 about it. Very cool experience.

Then there's probably 6.8 million other restaurants with amazing food.

Frenchman Street is where it's at. Bourbon Street is for stupid tourists.

The World War II Museum is an absolute must, at least for a day. Start with the movie narrated by Tom Hanks (it's just inside on the left, but you have to pay extra for it).

Eat and drink your ass off. Enjoy. One of the must fun cities in the US.
