We are In a ballin hotel right there on the bridge next to the riverI’ve only driven thru chatt, except once I stopped for lunch. There’s a walking bridge over the river that had coffee shops on the other side.
Also point lookout is probably worth going once?
I have been to ft. Olglethorpe, worth a visit on way in or out of town.
I stayed on the Choo choo with my grandmother years back and that was pretty coolYou can hit up Chattanooga Whiskey (they have a paid tour and tasting or you can just get 2-3 free sample tastings) if you're into whiskey. Terminal Brewpub is right across the street with a good beer selection and decent food (Meatloaf sandwich is quite tasty IMO). These are the only things I've ever done in in Chattanooga as I've ever stopped by on my way to Kentucky.
*Chattanooga Choo Choo is also in the same area. I don't know anything about it though.

YHPMGoing to Chatanooga with the wife for the next 3 nights. Anyone got any recs? Generally our favorite thing to do is find coffee shops, good local places to eat (casual preferred) and then just walking around areas of town with shops, restaurants and other things mixed in
Up there during the Holidays. Had dinner at The Terminal. Good food and hit a place called The Fountain Head Tap Room. Provide a CC and self-serve 60 different types of Ales, Lagers, Meads and wines. Pay by the ounce. Was fun.
@SmokeHouse423 I think he’s from the Chattanooga area or maybe has restaurant around there he has given some recs for the area.
