Explain it to me like I'm potus.
Will Elon sell shares, hold pat or buy more shares?

If he sells, he sells.

If holds pat at around 10% without a board seat he will have little impact.

If he buys more he could try to increase his stake to gain more power or he could go for a hostile takeover and tender an offer above the current share price to take it private or he could have a messy proxy battle to have the board removed with a shareholder vote.

21st century racism comes from
Leftism and is disguised as categorization. “Oh you’re not smart enough because your …[enter category here]… the govt is here to help because you can’t do it yourself. Trust us”
you need to keep smoking as much pot as you can, or better yet smoke more dope

I Think he buys a controlling interest in the company. He is flush with cash from exercising his TSLA options in 4q 2021. He seems to genuinely like twitter and connecting with his audience and customers through that platform. TSLA doesn't do a whole lot of advertising and Musk uses TWTR as one of his main avenues to connect with his customers.

Musk knows that TWTR is not living up to its potential and that he can make changes to the company to be more profitable.

Get your stock now because when he announces his purchase the stock will skyrocket.

I am highly doubtful about the last part.

Every company he touches the stock skyrockets. It went from $38 to $55 on the news that he had acquired a 10% stake.

Having his business acumen attached to a great product instead of the woke idiots who run it now, will greatly increase the value of the company. Only doubt me if you don't like money.

Didn’t you also say truth was going to absolutely blow up? I’m prolly out of the loop, but I don’t see the difference being as significant as you do.

Yes, I was and still am waiting for Truth to blow up. They botched the roll out though by missing two deadlines to have the product up and running. At first it was Presidents Day, then it was the end of March and now there is no timeline for when a fully functional product will be ready. I realize its a bit harder when you are building from the ground up and not using AWS et al, but don't make promises you can't keep, especially to wall street. DWAC is getting hammered at $45 which iss where it deserves to be after there performance. Still think there is a ton of long term value available in a Trump Media group as the media area is ripe for competition for obvious reasons.

And for the record Truth did blow up for a while trading up to $100 a share before it became obvious they would miss their deadline.

But yeah, Musk buying the company would be a huge catalyst for the stock. If you pay attention to Elons style, he is usually pretty straight forward with his tweets. Maybe i'm reading too much into it, but he told Michael Burry that he would be getting his blue checkmark back soon, and i take that literal lee. He usually keeps his word on that kind of stuff.

He said something would be done .... will he sell his current stake or buy a controlling interest? Im putting my money on the table as we speak. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Elon is buying more stock today.

People want to see there social media enterprises go away, but software and the ability to maintain it is king. These businesses (Facebook/Instagram, Twitter and even Reddit) have been developed for over a decade. You can't just pick that up and say you are going to replicate it within a year or two. You are going to be spending years building something from the ground up. And while you make that commitment you aren't going to be able to innovate.

Hmm you shouldn’t be chasing… he probably reached out but missed his call due to apple’s call blocker of unknown numbers.
Btw Elon is most likely the Antichrist…. So the interview will be good.
Meh, hes not globally rejoiced and doesnt have the charisma to charm everyone as the Antichrist is described to be. IMO it would be someone residing over a big win of a Global Power. Something that shakes the world, but will be based of blasphemy. Right now Voldymyr Zelensky seems to be the frontrunner, but of course neither you or I , or anyone else can predict at least IMO. Much love brother!

Elon is attacking their mind!!! He is attacking their mind!!!

The uncertainty left Twitter workers feeling “super stressed” about the future, with employees reportedly “working together to help each other get through the week.”

I see the stock is selling off, but I just don't think this will deter him in any fashion. He has clearly stated he has no respect for the SEC and his willingness to pay their fines to make them go away. The first time he got fined $40mm and he borrowed money against his stock to pay the fine. He ended up making money on the transaction.

Still think he is buying Twitter as we speak. We will probably know in a couple weeks. I guess he could dump his whole stake, but from the hints i see I don't think that will be the case.

I don't really give a shit what Musk does with Twitter. Social media in general is a plight on humanity. I'm just here for the chaos and too see the snowflakes have panic attacks.

You are right about this. I do think Twitter could be tolerable under his leadership though. It’s Awful in its current form

Just as i suspected Elon is cooking up a plan to buy Twitter. The likelyhood of it going through is only about 50-50 as the stock is only trading $51 right now. I suspect he will have to raise his offer.

Claims that it is his best and final offer. I don't believe him.

IF he does take it private, you can guarantee that it will be worth a lot more when he is done with it. It certainly has extraordinary potential that is not being realized now.

If the current twitter is smart they will take the offer. If they want to try and outsmart him, they should make the changes he suggested without selling the company to him.

It will also be interesting to see what happens to the stock price should his offer not be accepted. How far will it sell off?

100% cash offer. I knew he had to do something with that cash he has after exercising all those TSLA option in 4q 2021

I also suspect that if the purchase does not go through, Elon will leave the Twitter platform all together and take most of his 80mm followers with him either to an alternative service like Telegram or possibly even starting his own Social Media company.

They’re is like a 5% chance that this purchase goes through. Either way, Elon wins.

They sell, it’s his. They don’t, they’ll miss out on the biggest offer the company will ever have plus more.

If they reject his offer then Elon will dump the stock. Will make a nice profit and Twitter will be a company that even closer to death.

Here is the letter Musk sent to Twitter's chairman disclosed in the 13D filing.

Bret Taylor

Chairman of the Board,

I invested in Twitter as I believe in its potential to be the platform for free speech around the globe, and I believe free speech is a societal imperative for a functioning democracy.

However, since making my investment I now realize the company will neither thrive nor serve this societal imperative in its current form. Twitter needs to be transformed as a private company.

As a result, I am offering to buy 100% of Twitter for $54.20 per share in cash, a 54% premium over the day before I began investing in Twitter and a 38% premium over the day before my investment was publicly announced. My offer is my best and final offer and if it is not accepted, I would need to reconsider my position as a shareholder.

Twitter has extraordinary potential. I will unlock it.

-Elon Musk
