He took a Twitter poll about 10 days ago asking if Twitter allowed free expression and said the results of the poll would have consequences. Hate Twitter, but maybe he will buy the other 90% of it and turn it into something good.

Yea - Elon would not waste his time with such antics in threads like these.

Regarding Elon - I like following his technical empire but don't kid myself about his own ambitions and care less for the worship. He is as much a pawn in this game of life as anyone else. I think his he is playing a large role in what is to come and that he is more or less a wolf 's in sheep's clothing for lack of a more appropriate idiom. What he promotes about AI is like a software engineer peddling privacy concerns only to then sell malware and antivirus programs.

Elon and twitter will like most others platforms, will present popularized and cultured directives with a little more truth but with the same old twists. The only difference with Elon to others puppeteers is being more hip with loads more money than your average bear, not to mention all his tech. That said - he is still in the pocket of the American Government which is why I see him no different to all the other puppets that pull other peoples strings.

He may be bidding his time where one day he may very well break free from the shackles of movement and declare whatever ... but I doubt it. He will remain under the thumb for quite some time yet no doubt following orders from yet another above him. Most likely someone with scales. :ROFLMAO:

I hear you on him being under the thumb of the government but he also marches to a different drum than the rest of the schills. It's at least refreshing to have someone with a platform big enough voice their opposing opinions.

Don't forget, Joe Biden and Jen Psaki can't even say the word Tesla when talking about Electric Vehicles. They snubbed him and his company on any invite to the Whitehouse. He continually taunts the SEC and outright says he has no respect for them. He blatantly ignored, and challenged someone to arrest him, Covid-19 work restrictions.

Now I agree with you, on the flip side he gets tons of governement subsidies and grants etc and who knows what direction he goes in the future. But for the time being i'm on team Elon.

Outside of my cynicism and morbid views to which I do not like being - I do hope Elon can be more than just a font man in the same way I see many gurus being worshiped but still those characters actually offering hope in some form or other regardless our programming.

I hold out hope that one day he will just do a full circle and thank everyone for their assistance but announce he is now venturing off regardless of what the world has to say. Like I am sure where ever he goes much of the same faults will go with him, but to actually be alive and to see such a character pull that off ... would be the ultimate LOL moment for me.

Everyone is sold off / markets but despite the huge distrust and skepticism, he is playing a very likeable character for this day and age. I really wish him all the best and sincerely hope that he is just playing along to a point where he does indeed pull some kind of mickey that makes humanity a little less ... edgy. But you now how they react to anything free. God forbid things become cheaper.

But yea man ... I'm glad we can hear on some things. We need more of that despite our differences. Elon might be the guy once he is less bound by current events and agendas. In all reality I do hope he gets to meet his that being separate to the almighty powers. I'm not a fan of his upcoming net ... but the way things are going, I do make a case where actual robots programmed with the whatever ideals - may indeed be more grounded and less bias than human beings. At least you know the terms straight up without all the BS if a robot comes knocking on the door. lol If Elon gets to do the programming with the way in which he sells himself it might actually be a good thing - but something tells me ... and he says it himself ... I'm just not sure where the tipping point lay in that. Cybernetics for sure are just around the time the first base goes up on mars with pet drones carrying peoples things when walking the sidewalks to be more a thing.

Anyways Chicago ... I hope this finds you well and that things pan out for the better either way regardless of our own misconceptions and all that. Time to get off this chair and embrace the day no matter what it brings. Have a good one. (y)

I think the next board meeting is going to go something like this.

Elon: "OK, look you little faggots, free speech means free speech. Either The Don is reinstated and the Babylon Bee is allowed to tell the truth about men and women or I am buying the rest of the company and firing everyone of you." He will then press the disconnect button.
