Derek Chauvin Trial/George Floyd/Minneapolis

The cop is a huge POS but I don’t know how you convict him based on the autopsy. We are not a country of mob rule and he shouldn’t just be convicted to appease the mob. There should be changes made but when George Floyd dies of an OD it’s hard to convict of murder, no?
Yes, but it's the reason the Supreme Court didn't take the tough election law cases....intimidates by the blowback

It varies depending on circumstances, but 11ng/mL is a fatal level of fentanyl for most people.
3ng/ml is.

11 on another level.

"If he were found dead at home alone and no other apparent causes, this could be acceptable to call an OD. Deaths have been certified with levels of 3," Baker told investigators.
In another new document, Baker said, "That is a fatal level of fentanyl under normal circumstances."

Anything less than a conviction on all charges including Murder 3 will not be allowed to happen by the powers that be here in Minny and nationwide as well. The jury's being stacked with no 'shame' by those involved. BTAvenger, you are correct. Keith Ellison is stirring the pot as much as he can. He's a disgusting example of an AG who is supposed to represent all Minnesotans. Not even close.

OT a bit, but I’m sick & tired of hearing that white parents don’t have to have “the talk” with their kids about how to act with police.

I’ve personally gone over how to deal with police/authorities with my son quite a bit particularly since he’s begun driving.
I also remember I’m 10th grade some civic class also went over this. It was a mostly white class,

Every responsible parent, of any race, teaches their kid how to act when stopped by the police.

Agreed.

Bullets don't see color last I checked.

The attention that the public is drawing to this could easily sway any juror to vote against Chauvin. I can see this being a mistrial if gets convicted.

I’ve wondered if public pressure has the opposite effect. If I have the mob screaming outside telling me what I as a juror can and can’t think, my personality type would only double down and go the opposite direction from public opinion. Or I’d be even more likely to hear out all sides and come to the correct conclusion to spite the assholes screaming outside.
