The other 28 sent to the United States were also in Mexican prisons.
It cost the US $60,000+ to house an inmate.
If they were already in prison why bring them here at a cost of close to $2 Million per year?
No one gives a shit about a crime committed 40 years ago or Mexican prisoners that were already in prison.
There are only 2 reasons to extradite someone.
A. To try them and sentence them - but in every case that has already been done - bringing them here has no benefit in a cost/benefit analysis
B. To have them testify against others that have been arrested OR are going to be arrested.
Thus, we almost entirely have to eliminate A - unless Trump is making a show of force against the Cartels and Mexican President.
