Rittenhouse trial. Those guys knew he was innocent and were willing to lie, hide evidence and falsify evidence to get a conviction. The more I see of prosecutors the less I trust that they just want to do justice. I would have guessed 1 in 100 were wrongly convicted on death row before that but I wouldn't doubt if it's not over a dozen.

How can Jack Smith be pardoned? Doesn't a person have to be indicted or convicted beforehand? I don't think you can issue pardons if they haven't.

Ford pardoned Nixon before he was ever charged or indicted. It's a gray area, but the Supreme Court has never determined if it's Constitutional.
