SignUp Now!Utah, other Western states ask Supreme Court to return millions of acres of land back to the states
“The federal burden in the West infringes on our sovereignty and undermines our equality with other States, all in direct violation of the Constitution,” Rep. Harriet Hagemen, R-Wyo., said.
A map of the U.S. showing land under federal control paints large swaths of the West. In August, Utah filed a lawsuit against the federal government, arguing that it’s unconstitutional for the feds to retain unappropriated land in a state indefinitely.
Since the lawsuit was filed, a dozen other states, including Idaho, Alaska and Wyoming, have filed briefs asking the court to hear the case. Additionally, a coalition of counties in Arizona and New Mexico, the Pacific Legal Foundation, the Utah Legislature and the Wyoming Legislature have also filed briefs in support of the lawsuit.
“The federal burden in the West infringes on our sovereignty and undermines our equality with other States, all in direct violation of the Constitution,” Rep. Harriet Hagemen, R-Wyo., told Just the News. Hageman joined Utah’s congressional delegation in filing a brief in support of the Supreme Court’s review of Utah’s complaint.

who?I could be wrong but something seems off. Both of them have connections with Roger Stone and Trump doesn’t associate himself with either of them. Just wondering if anybody else has doubts about them - just my gut feeling….
Much like politicians, if 1 or 2 prosecutors and even judges (NYC Trump judge) were prosecuted, convicted and sent to jail for lies and evidence hiding or any other breach of the law, it would send a jolt through the ranks. Now they are not afraid of the system mainly due to politics. Hopefully that changes soon.Rittenhouse trial. Those guys knew he was innocent and were willing to lie, hide evidence and falsify evidence to get a conviction. The more I see of prosecutors the less I trust that they just want to do justice. I would have guessed 1 in 100 were wrongly convicted on death row before that but I wouldn't doubt if it's not over a dozen.
If it's a loan to the car maker, wouldn't all Trump needs to do is call the loan due immediately? Of course, there will be all sorts of clauses not allowing it. That might only happen in the real world and not DC politics.I just saw on this board last week that this scam of a company loses 39K per car they sell. Sounds about right that our clueless government would lend them money. Kiss that goodbye. SKOL!
