This happened in the late 40's-early 50's. Don't think there are too many photos around now. At his daughter's recent funeral, my cousin said his Mom would take the bear and go drag racing locals with the bear in the front seat.
Bullshit on Texas scare tactics. It's been 104-109 degrees for the past month or two with no threat of rolling blackouts. Now it's back to 105+ for a couple of days and this comes out now. Come Saturday, we go below 100 and continue to fall with rain chances for the next 7-10 days.
