Agree 100%. The only way I see him in the WH again is an overturn of 2020, or a special election this year.
IMO, in addition to exposing ALL bad actors, identifying key people like DeSantis is important for bench strength. Guys like Savino and Pompeo have never waivered in their support. I see them in a larger role perhaps.

I too have thought about this. Another thing I often think about is Kansas. To me part of the Trump presidency issue was being an outsider he didn't have much knowledge or understanding of the true interworkings of a lot of these agencies. I think this was part off the reason for Pompeo moving through all these organizations. He could get a better understanding as well as help identify any (if any) patriots left. This would help with exposing from the inside. Trump kept declassifying everything but the Bureaucrats within found ways to delay or circumvent.
