2017 World Freedom Index
We set out to answer the question: “Which are the freest counties in the world?”
While freedom certainly can be subjective, the Index attempts to represent the freedom of a country by looking at economic freedom, political freedom, and freedom of the press.
The World Freedom Index attempts to provide a well rounded ranking of an individual country’s freedom relative to other countries. Below is our ranking for 2017:
