Real estate in my area of central Florida is out of control. One house in my neighborhood went Under contract for $31k over asking price the day it went on the market. It’s basically the same as my house and went for more than double what I paid for my house 5 years ago (my place did need a lot of work when I bought it. Still does actually). This is typical all over my area.

Three times I've had trampolines blow away. Last time, several years ago, I'm having coffee on a Sunday winter morning. A balmy 0 degrees out. Looking out the sliding deck doors I notice something different about the landscape...something was missing. Whole tramp is gone. Throw on a coat and run outside to find it resting on my neighbors front yard about 10 feet from their front door. This is about 100 feet from its original location, across the street and up a hill. Got my son and we dragged it back to its spot.
Now, I use 4 spiral stakes and ratchet straps to hold it down. Haven't had any problems.

Lots of this is the obscene costs of material to build new. Lumber and most everything else is skyrocketing.

Congress could pass laws against it too but chances of them passing anything that isn't via reconciliation is slim as things stand today.
