Yeah, I’m in the panhandle (Santa Rosa beach / Miramar beach) and the property values have jumped similarly. I’d say 60-70% increase on homes (not condos) over the last 2-3 years.
Our home we bought had multiple offers. My in-laws are moving now and just went under contract. The home they purchased had 4 offers day one (all asking price). They gave each group a chance to counter, my in-laws got it and increased 21k.

The CPL course I took (which was taught by a current LEO) said the same thing. If you are involved in a shooting, you call the police and tell them to send EMS and officers. You then call your attorney and shut up until they arrive.
Speaking of CPL - my wife took her class in late February. All license applications have been moved to the Wayne County Clerk (in Detroit). Wife cannot even get on the website to schedule an appointment. Backlog is so long, there are lawsuits trying to move things along. I got mine 5 years ago and did everything (finger print, etc.) at a Sherriff office. Ahh the good old days. Another reason that Michigan is Asshole.
The man who raised me was a cop and he told me to cooperate by not being unruly, violent or anything else to like that. Always be respectful because they have a job to do. He also added, don't ever answer any questions until you have proper representation to defend and guide you. The police are not there to prove you innocent, they are there to get the bottom of an incident.

I agree about Trump being back in office. Selfishly I would like that but I don't know if that's what best for the country right now given how the media has spent the last 4 years spewing their propaganda, though I could be convinced otherwise.
That being said, Trump is building his own social media network of some sort that is disconnected from the others so if something were to be released there, I'm not sure how they shut it down or stop it.
