I disagree a President does have immunity when conducting his normal duties. Anyone saying he doesn't would have more power than the President who has absolute power.
The remedy per the Constitution for conflicts about this can only be solved if he is impeached by the Senate then he can be tried in a regular court.
In this case, Trump was tried and acquitted by the Senate for the same crime.
Otherwise, any DA in the US could indict a President when they thought his actions taken in his duties were a crime.
With no immunity, there would never be a President who could function as a President.
At least this is the way I understand Presidential immunity.

Two different arguments. Trump is arguing for absolute immunity even after he's out of office as long as he's not impeached. He won't win that. Nor should he. The President has to obey the Constitution, and can be charged once he's out of office if he doesn't. He does NOT have "Absolute Authority." That's asinine.

He is charged with things when he was President in the Smith Cases?
So you think Clinton, Bush, and Obama could currently be charged for something they did while President while conducting normal duties?
Congress can't, Judges can't why do they have immunity and the President doesn't?
I meant absolute authority doing the duties of a President.
For 248 years, no former President has ever been indicted.
Again this is only my opinion and you have yours we should know after the courts hash it out.

I'm pretty sure Russia already said that if US planes hit targets inside Russia they would strike back in some manner. Not sure if they'll hit the airbase it took off from or do a cyber attack or actually attack the US but this is a desperate act by the losing side.This can't be a good thing for us.
