Disney proxy fight heating up. Elon spotted with Nelson Peltz and his family after Iger denied Peltz 2 board seats even though he is the largest shareholder of Disney stock. The board at disney only has 3 of 12 members who even own stock in Disney. Those 3 people own $350,000 in stock. Peltz has around $2 billion plus controls voting shares for another $3 billion.

Get your popcorn.
Disney just shut TV down on another provider DirecTV. I hope they go under or Musk buys them out.

Kansas State University backs down from its scholarship program for minorities only after Civil Rights complaint.

https://legalinsurrection.com/2024/...ter-equal-protection-project-legal-challenge/

However, KSU appears to be keeping the program available albeit in the shadows.

"As I noted at the time, the elimination of discriminatory conditions does not mean the discrimination will go away. It might just be pushed behind closed doors, and perhaps that is what will happen with the Joey Garmon Scholarship."

Exactly what I thought he was doing too. Folks were all upset because he put Fauci and Berks out front....

Trump is the master showman: "Gives a person enough rope to hang themselves."
Thats a normal business man and nomal business action. I do it with employees. It never fails. Ever. I do it with coaching and players. Especially the ones whose parents freak out. Its always a win win. They either reveal who they are and suck or end up getting better and we win. Most of the time they out themselves and compile all the evidence you need. Ive been screaming this for years about Trump.
This is why @ETNVol is so simple minded. he has no idea of this concept. In my world its a normal concept or action like throwing or running. It doesnt even exist to people like him.

IT'S COMING

As the Head of the British Army says the government must prepare now to “mobilise the nation” for war, 100,000 young Swedish people prepare to be called up for military duty next year, and Australia also considers conscription, are we being prepped for war? And if this is unwillingly, how will they enforce it?

So the only route for a Republican administration to indict a Democrat president is to shut down the DC federal court entirely (which Trump and GOP should be immediately in 2025 if he’s elected) and move jurisdiction to VA or MD. Otherwise, only GOP presidents will be indicted

So the final language has some significant inconsistencies.

As an example, at one point they say dictum in a prior SCOTUS opinion unfavorable to Trump is compelling. Later they point to dictum in a SCOTUS opinion that is favorable to Trump and say “it’s only dictum” and dismiss it.

A key conclusion is based on a single sentence from a concurring opinion in a prior SCOTUS case.

This happens when there are multiple cooks making the soup and they all have their own recipes they want to follow.

When they are unlikely to have the final word, no one really wants to have their name on an opinion that might get reversed.

Why wouldn't the President of the United States--any President?

Four DC federal judges did not even establish at a baseline level that the President of the United States cannot be thrown in prison by his successor based upon his official acts.

They ignored the Constitution's separation of powers.

Thus, the Supreme Court must take and decide this case.

This case is much bigger than Trump.

This precedent is very dangerous and highly destructive to the presidency--thus, our Constitution and country.

This means the Trump 47 Justice Department can prosecute Obama--along with his aides like U.S. Circuit Judge David Barron, Obama's legal advisor at the time--for capital murder for their extrajudicial drone-striking of American citizens (including a minor).

This also means the Trump 47 Justice Department can prosecute Biden for his illegal release of dangerous migrants into the United States and the natural and probable crimes they commit.

Will the Supreme Court do its job?

Or allow these Republic-ending tactics?

The accused individuals are alleged to have received cash payments from contractors in return for securing lucrative contracts with the NYCHA. The charges might be connected to projects involving “micro-purchases,” referring to contracts for minor repairs and construction at city housing developments.

Try and stay focused on the info and not on that Blonde lady's ass.
