I think by now, the lbgq community has worn out its welcome with everyone that is not gay. We owe them nothing. Not one darn thing. This mayor did what he thought was best and without reading the article, it seems he has a pretty good case to take to court over this wrongful and sinful firing. If you support the lbgq movement now, I am going to put you on the level with the worst of that terrorist group, the pedos. There is no need for me to accept that they just want to be left alone when you look at how aggressive that trash has become since a cake shop was forced to make them a cake. Respect is earned and they have done ZERO to earn the respect of citizens who truly want to be left alone to live their lives without having to fear their livelihoods over not flying a flag that stands in part for diddling children.

A tariff inevitably does the same thing as a corporate tax. It's eventually paid for by the end user. Purchasing steel from American countries as Don Maga claimed would happen isn't really viable, given that China produces roughly a dozen times more steel than the US does.

You know who else thinks the Trump Tariff's were good policy? The Biden Administration. They've kept most of them in place.

If this is all Trump and his acolytes have to throw against Desantis, it's going to be a rough 10-12 months in Maga country.

Why is that a good indicator? Is it your contention that:
  1. Tariffs are completely pareto efficient, existing in a vacuum that only has upside, with no collateral damage?
  2. Government revenue is a positive in and of itself?

Because Don Maga told them so. The maga movement requires you to check your brain at the door.

So that when confronted with facts, such as Larry Fink being on Trump's economic advisory council and advising him on his covid response, you can ignore it and instead just post about how evil Larry Fink is. Without that "door check", you'd start asking yourself, and eventually others, some uncomfortable questions.

Still don’t know what people expect Republicans to do? They can hold hearings, produce evidence, expose it all publicly, and refer charges until they’re blue in the face but in the end there’s no backstop when the entities you’re going after are protected by the DOJ/FBI and/or are the DOJ/FBI.

And when no one continues to do anything about it year after year the public loses interest and/or doesn’t believe it.
