I agree that Trump's current stance on the jab makes no sense. However, can you imagine what the push back would have looked like if he didn't do anything when Covid first came out? They probably would have tried to impeach him for not allowing the gov't to pay Pfizer, etc to develop their jabs. Re-election would have been impossible too, as the media was fully pushing the vax campaign.

I'm with you that he was far from perfect, but he was in a rough situation from the start.

I'm talking about at the very beginning, when they put in the order to let the drug companies start the process. We didn't know what they were going to come up with. Personally, especially when it comes down to medical stuff, I like to wait to see how testing looks and actual use before I'll just jump in. Some people believe Dr's and the medical field are infallible and have the best interest of the people in mind. So yeah, once the jab became available, based on the MRNA stuff and lack of testing put forth by the drug companies and the gov't, I decided to hold off. Plus, I already had covid, so by that time it didn't seem like a wise move.

One of my long time friends who is a practicing doctor was one of the first ones in my state to jump in and get the jab. He didn't care about testing or anything else, just believed what the media was saying. Get the jab, you don't get covid. It was all a lie. So did Trump know it was a lie? I doubt it, but it's easy to look back on it and criticize how he did things after the fact. I just wish Trump would shut his yapper about how he helped push it through.
