Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Yeah, Brey has been at it for a long time, he seemed deflated energy wise the last few years. He should do well in his role for the Hawks. He will actually be a serious benefit on the offensive end of the floor for that team. He may even have a plan to try and make Tre a more efficient team player.

I was particularly interested in reading the 9/11 Commission Report as soon as it came out. I distinctly remember my feeling upon finishing the book. I slammed the book shut and said out loud “they had all the information they needed to prevent this from happening”. Being that I am in the fire service the topic was and still is very interesting to me, and I’ve never buried the possibility that it could have been an inside job. IF this stuff that is coming out is true, I hope there is hell to pay for ALOT of powerful people in this country. Kinda like the ending of the movie Shooter. ZFG.
