Big one for your doc, too? Mine was almost all Eli Lilly. $1 million over 2020 and 2021. Ramped from pocket change to massive amounts starting the second week of January 2020.

How are you getting that granular? I can only see up to 2020 data and nothing on a monthly timeline or anything like you reference.

Damn. They really do pay attention.

So here I am, watching chernobyl with Riley (she came up to stay here because she has meetings in Dayton all day tomorrow...and I think she just wanted her mommy)

Anyway...I asked her what she knew about the ussr collapse. Damn....my girl (23 years old) knew and nailed it. Her answer: The 'official' and final year was 91. Gorby was leader, but wasn't in 86 when it really started to fall (But still a powerful voice).

She paused the show for a deep discussion. Really just letting her go with what she knew and me confirming that she had it right and adding details and context when necessary to answer questions.

I say this for all of y'all with littles. Do not shy away from talking about world events. Hide nothing to 'protect' them. Include them in discussions (tailor it to age approptiate, obviously) and let them question incessantly. Do not shut then down. Do not give them pat on the head, go to bed answers. (Let's talk about this in the morning is fine..but follow through) And be honest in your answers...even when that answer is 'I don't know',

I was honestly shocked that Riley knew and understood the falll of the ussr and how relevant it is today. I shouldn't be. She's always been a girl who paid close attention to things most think kids don't. (They do. They're not stupid or vapid. They're ignored) But damn...she went way beyond the surface knowledge. guess what? Her friends are right there with her.

Is Riley doing okay with the cardiac issues?

Thank you for asking.

She is. Tilt table is April 4. Got the pericarditis handled. Now to figure out the absolute insanity. (I believe her electrocardiologist will. He's talking it as a personal challenge and the head of UC cardiology is chiming in) just reducing her anxiety and fear is important. And she knows what to do when she feels faint or dizzy. And she knows it's not all in her head or because she's tall. (Still REALLY pissed about that dismissal) She has 2 of the best on her team. After 2+ years, that's been the best thing for her. She's not a dramatic girl looking for attention and they're going to figure this out.

I did tell her tonight she looks like she's lost weight (She's 5'10" but still small, if that makes sense. Her features are delicate. She wears a size 7 shoe. A ring for her middle finger is a 4. She's tall, but tiny. )She assured me she has not. Her weight is steady, (she gets weighed every week.) She's 138. Her heaviest was 142. it's just that she can't work out so she looks thinner. No muscle mass. Which pisses her off something fierce. She's an athlete and needs it.

She's just ready for answers as to what is going on and how to fix it. She wants her life back.

Did you do the search on him from a link posted here a few months ago to find out how much he gets paid by big pharma? I did on my doctor and plan to ask about it at my upcoming annual physical. I’m sure I’ll be looking for a new doctor the next day.
Last year when presented with the option of getting the Covid vax I asked about the potential pulmonary effects and was told the risks to the pulmonary system were far greater from getting Covid. My doctor knows I am a national-level triathlete with a physical profile of a 22 year old. This year’s session is going to be a blast!
I think you should record the whole thing. Would be great to see
