My guess is that James, after a few failed attempts to make it to DC, bent at the knee for the establishment and is now beholden to them. McCarthy is establishment. The worthless leader of the RNC is as well. He most likely was given support, in whatever form, to get him to DC this time as long as he plays along with whatever the establishment wants him to do. Just a guess but is it hard to believe?

It's clear that at this time, McCarthy isn't getting the votes. So what's the resolution? What if McCarthy comes out and puts his support behind BDD, similar to how Trump did to McCarthy recently.
