• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

#Caution, this video is supposedly of a young Syrian child about to be harvested.
#There are what appears to be deceased children's bodies strewn about, covered by tarps.
#I don't know anything more than what's shown in this disturbing video.
This one's had me messed up all morning.

I just got over round 2 of the 'vid, which I assume was this variant. It actually hit me hard on the 1st day, and I had around a 102 fever, but only for like 6-8 hours. I slept it off, and when I gotup, I was much better. After the initial fever and extreme tiredness, it was basically a head cold for me. Light cough and runny nose, a little head/ear congestion, but not much pressure, and lower than normal appetite.

No headache, muscle pain, shortness of breath, or loss of taste or smell with this one, for me.
Congrats on the weight loss

That's actually a pretty crazy picture. I did a quick check on the math to see if it makes sense, and it does.

Standing at 3' apart, you could fit every person in the entire world in either Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, etc, and have the rest of the world uninhabited by humans.

For the entire world to fit into a city with the population density of New Orleans, the city would be the size of the US (not including Alaska). That sounds bad, until you consider that if it were placed into a city with the density we see in the some of the larger 3rd world cities, then it would only take a mid-sized state like Alabama or Tennessee.

Sounds like flu symptoms.
