One thing this entire saga has done is turned my very gun resistant husband into a man who is now detrimined to aquire an arsenal.

He got a glock 19. I was going to let him get comfortable with having a gun in the house and then gradually aquire a few more over time.

Seriously, this was a big deal for him. I was raised and am comfortable with guns, he wasn't... so we didn't have guns.

Now? Nope. He gets home from Aspen Friday and told me to cancel all plans Saturday. We're heading over to stock up. Kids, too. (And my kids are well versed in gun safety and use. He compromised with me by not fighting me when I let them go with my parents or friends to learn to shoot and get comfortable).

I wonder how many across our beautiful country are in the same place today?

I have some friends who were very anti-gun and trended more towards being independents vs pub. They now own at least 5 weapons and shoot all the time.

My dad just told me that he read an article where it said Trump is trying to get out of DC and on AF1 before the inauguration so he doesn’t have to ask Biden if he can borrow AF1. I believe that AF1 is simply the designation given to any plane carrying the president and is not specific to any one plane. What would happen is if he were in the air on prior to swearing in he would be on AF1. As soon as Biden is sworn in, the plane Trump is on would then have its call sign changed from AF1 to something different.
