Trump only won because Biden was so dismal. Neither man was trying to be fact check factual except for their golf scores.

For example, the National Border Patrol Union said that they did not endorse Biden nor would they ever give him their endorsement. Trump should have mentioned that. That would have been a great fact check item for the liberal news media.

Also, when asked a question, Trump always wanted to "go back" to what Biden previously said. Trump refused to answer the moderator's question. Trump focused on why you shouldn't vote for Biden; he should have responded to questions about socialist security, child care and what steps he would take to grow the economy. If Trump wants to win he needs to bury Biden not just show that Biden is unfit for office.

No idea. If they do it would need to be very soon though. A handful of states have early closure dates for the presidential race. Some will allow late entries in the event of death or serious mental impairment though, so who knows, maybe they try to push for one of those.

FWIW - As you know, the law was misapplied and many J6 rally goers will have at least one charge dropped. On another note, I wanted to get up to date on what Trump said relative to getting the National Guard on the scene at the J6 rally.

Trump says that he asked Nancy if she wanted him to send the National Guard. Supposedly she said no. Then she accepted responsibility for it. Then today, when I looked it up, it appears to me that the fact checkers play literary prestidigitation in order to support a false narrative. Here is their "fact finding" conclusion:

What channels did Pelosi go through to get the National Guard to the rally? When was it done? You're right; however, the Speaker cannot deploy the National Guard. It was Pelosi's responsibility to request the National Guard, but she chose not to until it was too late. That's on her, not Trump. The media can spin it any way they want.
