Swatches: My current impulse purchase collection.

It started when I thinking back to my brother and one swatch he had when we were growing up and how I always envied him because he saw it at Dillards before me. I purchased purchased it as a way to remember him when I look at my wrist. (The turquoise with yellow dial)
After that I looked at all the ones I had as a kid, but they all looked either lame, gay, or super gay. Below are my current batch.
I have purchased my lady friend just as many.

I like the old Casios. This is the watch model I’ve worn everyday for years. I’ve gone through 3 of them in about five years (and just got the 3rd which is why this one is so clean). They are like $20 and last forever

The actually rereleased these in the last year and they have bigger faces than the original one

Thanks. What’s funny is I wore it the last time I was at my folks house and my mother instantly recognized it.
I bought his daughter the first one I had as a child (My first when my mom made me get one of the woman’s small ones. She said it the big ones were too big for my wrist, which honestly looking back she was right but I still remember that watch and how much I hated it because leverybody knew I had a girls watch on

No. Those are either expensive ( i’m not paying 100 bucks for a swatch) or the plastic is dull and yellow. These are next on my list. The first is pretty cool, the second and third i don’t think I would wear, but they are on my list.

It is a brand of watch that was super popular with kids about 30+ years ago when alot of us were growing up. They were just cheap watches with all kinds of different designs.

I was a farm kid, didn't really catch the latest trends til we moved to the shitty, I mean city,...but even then I was one of the poor people til I started working at 11yo and had to pay rent and all that.

Use a watch daily. Casio G-shock. I time my workouts and use the stopwatch for rest intervals. I know phones can do all of this, I just like the ease of looking at my wrist and like watches in general.
