Love it. Brings back the electric chair as the primary means of execution. Only if the guilty requests it, can they use firing squad. I'd take the firing squad over the chair anyday. Always brings me joy, thinking of SC's most prolific serial killer, Peewee Gaskins, frying in that thing.
Really like what SC and FL have been doing lately. Like this law on the death penalty and love the Covid related laws recently passed in FL. Makes me appreciate living in SC.

The way these assholes were getting around being executed was by some technicality where they wouldn't choose which way they wanted to die. Now if they don't choose its just straight to the chair.
The article states where one dude is on death row for shooting a store clerk in the head because she didn't open the store safe fast enough. Poor guy might finally get fried soon.
