Use the poll, if you vote for someone other than on the list, list them below, but either way, use the poll thing.

I mean I want Tulsi on here but it's pretty much going to be JD Vance, who isn't even on this list. JD is a good pick though, but Tulsi would bring in faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar more votes, and she's top of my list. I've liked her since she came in as a Bernie Dem.

Trump has said something negative to say about all of the people on that list except for Tim Scott. Ben Carson was supposed to be on the list, but he is a founding member of that group that Trump just disavowed.

I guess everybody sees it differently. Trump could have done worse, but my criticisms of Vance are:

1) He is a Catholic married to an Indian / Hindu. I don't see how that plays out for White people that are opposed to multiculturalism and are separatists as opposed to supremacists

2) I'm not understanding how Vance can back a plan to pull support from Ukraine (which is protecting itself from a former KGB officer and petty despot invading a sovereign country)

3) How do justify perpetuating the war the Israelis are engaged in that has gone beyond justice is is now a war of genocide against Palestinians?

I predict in the weeks to come you will see a different Donald Trump, but his legions of worshippers will back his conversion which will include adopting a lot of Biden's policies - which Trump has always believed in anyway.

1.) You are a Dumb Racist Fuck, nobody wants to hear your White Separatist shit.

2.) You don't really seem to know much about the Ukraine War and when and who is at fault for it.

3.) Quit giving them weapons and let their God sort it out for them.

4.) Adopting Biden's policies? Be specific which ones exactly.

Personally, I'd have preferred either of those two.
Sleepy Ben can't stay awake long enough and Tim Scott has some of the same disadvantages that Vance has... namely actual experience. Vance is a family man with children which is, most likely, what made a difference when the platform includes abortion.

So who would be your "perfect" candidate? Not just VP, but potus too.

I think America would be well served with Rep. Thomas Massie as VP

For president it would have to be someone that isn't on our radar. I like Rand Paul, but feel he isn't presidential material. The other guy to watch is Georgia's Rep. Andy Clyde:

I would also think Rich McCormick, a U.S. Representative from Georgia would be a great pick. I was going to run for Congress when Rob Woodall bowed out, but when McCormick stepped up, there was no way I was going to run against him. If he decides to stay in politics, he has a bright future ahead of him.

You just want to put me on the spot with this Trump is superior to any other candidate. That is bullshit and you know it. You should try that on someone else. IF the American people were willing to consider those the media and the big money powers haven't brought to the forefront, you might see more qualified people step up to the plate. The fact that I can name three qualified VP choices you don't know shows that we do NOT elect presidents; they are selected by the powers that be and you get to pretend by voting for the Establishment picks.

Those are decent picks.

Personally I would have loved for Walter Williams to have run for office, especially potus. He'd have been light years ahead of Obama for a first black potus. Obozo sucked.

I'm not tryin' to put you on the spot. I was attempting a discussion. You don't have to read something into everything. Sometimes a question, is just a question.

The majority are so far removed from a Constitutional view of our gov, I don't think most would even recognize it as their government if it were to act in a wholly Constitutional manner.

We did not get into this mess in one election, or even one generation. We ain't getting out of it that quickly either.

All Trump represents is a stopping of some of the current f'ed up shit that's going on.

I'm beginning to mellow out after your last post. We don't have to be adversarial all the time.

Trump is no better, in my opinion, than Reagan who signed major anti - gun legislation or King George the Bush who took NRA money and then came out against gun owners. In that regard, Trump IS the worst. In another thread I've mentioned that the Republican Party is phasing out any mention of the Second Amendment in their platform. Gun owners are on their own.

No matter what people agree or disagree on, once we forfeit the Right to keep and bear Arms, we will be invaded OR we will become a socialist state. For that reason, that subject is my litmus test for any politician.

With that in mind, we are never going back to a "constitutional" government. We will have to redefine what we are for and what our future is going to look like. In the short term, we did not challenge Trump on gun control and you will get some good news here. I was going to abstain from voting myself. While I have serious reservations about J.D. Vance on social issues, he has a 100 percent rating from Gun Owners of America. After much prayer on the subject (and remembering that even Judah was allowed to lead after violating God's law by intermarrying with a Canaanite - and God never recognized that branch as biblical Israel), I have decided that I will have to vote for Trump simply because of Vance's stand on a single issue.

Statistically, Trump may not be able to fulfill his term of office so I'm settling on a lot of ifs and maybes. Biden is going to pull out of the race and the Democrats are going to throw a curve ball at the American people. Then it will be an uphill battle with our future in the balance.
