Stay safe all you Florida people. It looks like it may cross the state and regroup before hitting GA and the Carolinas too, but who knows. Should know more tomorrow
Looks like Thursday is going o be a long day. Oh well just another hurricane in Florida. Feel bad for the Tampa Bay area looks like it's going to get fucked up from this one.

Wonder how long people will have to sit in traffic to get out of these west coast cities.

Not sure going to Orlando is going to be very helpful. They're projected to get over a foot of rain, and very strong winds too, which will likely knock out power and cause big problems also. At this point, maybe either Miami / Palm Beach or much further North would be the best bets.

Damn. Cuba looks to have had almost no effect on it. It appears to be strengthening quickly. Going to be a bad one for whoever takes the brunt of it. Wind and storm surge, but they are saying a couple feet of rain as well.
Yahoo article I just read said it did increase because the water temp was 1.7 higher. Looks like it may be a doozy. Not some bullshit super storm samdy where a bunch of wops burned their beach houses in a rain storm

Any footage of landfall yet?
The main eye of the storm is currently only about 40-50 miles north of Cuba, so aside from the Keys, it's still quite a ways off shore. See below:

With as large of a storm as it is though, they're projecting some very widespread rain and storm surges (including on the East side of the state. See below:
