Try walking you dog a mile or 2 ea day. It can be a pain at 1st but you'll start looking forward to it.
It did wonders for me and my dog when I got in to my place after fire.
Helped my mood and sleep. I've battled depression and insomnia for 4 decades nearly and I swear this is the best medicine. Take the girls too.
I tried meds and got off that shit quickly. I don't need to feel like I'm geeked out all the time.
Most importantly get standardized sleep and try not to deviate.
I know you are a big drinker but try red wine and water it down. I found that helps too and no hangover
